These properties are- 1- Laser beam is completely spatially coherent. All the waves will be exactly in phase with one another. An interference pattern can be obtained not only by getting two sources by a single laser source but also by using two separate laser beams from two separate sources.  2- Laser light is almost perfectly monochromatic.  3- Laser rays are almost perfectly parallel. Hence it is extremely narrow and can travel a very long distance without spreading. Therefore, It can be focused at an extremely sharp point.  4- The laser beam is extremely intense.
